Doug has been a member of the Horn of Africa board since 2013.
He has been married for over 28 years and has three children. Doug and his wife served with Wycliffe Bible Translators in Asia for over a year. He has led short-term mission trips to Asia and Africa, and has led a Missions Committee for a church in the SF Bay Area. Doug has a Masters degree in Computer Science from Stanford University, and has been a software engineer / software development manager in Silicon Valley for over 28 years working at a variety of startups as well as large companies. He has been granted 7 software patents and has 2 pending. He is also a part-time Adjunct Professor of Computer Science at Ohlone College. Doug is a dual citizen of both Canada and the USA.
