Mussie Tsegaye resides in Olathe, Kansas with his wife and three children.

Being raised in a Christian home, he went to church and practiced the faith early on at a young age. The calling for ministry in his life was crystal clear. Mussie attended a bible school, became ordained, and ministered in his homeland, Ethiopia, prior to coming to the United States.

Coming to the United States in 2009 opened a new chapter in his life and ministry. Mussie had another chance to attend Seminary to study Mission and Evangelism followed by an opportunity to serve as a pastor at the Miami Christian fellowship church in Florida.

In 2020 Mussie met Dr. Markos Zemede while he was teaching missions and church planting courses in Mathetes bible school in Kansas. Dr. Markos invited Mussie to labor alongside Horn of Africa Mission and he humbly accepted the call and joined the team as Diaspora Missions Coordinator, and after 2 years became the Africa Director.
