Scott McCallum is married to his wife Renee, and they have one daughter and two grandchildren.

Scott was born and raised in Fresno, CA where he graduated with his degree in Accounting from Fresno State, and earned his J.D. at Southwestern University School of Law. His work as a lawyer spanned 42 years, and he has recently retired in order to be a full-time grandfather.
Scott grew up in a church that had a value and heart for missions, and he frequently went on mission trips within California and Mexico. It was during one of those trips that he accepted Christ, and continued to grow deeper in his faith in his adult life. Over the years, Scott has done various legal work for non-profits, as well as being chairman of the board for Fellowship of Christian Athletes for 7 years. Scott was introduced to Horn of Africa Mission through his church, and Dr. Markos Zemede ended up becoming his personal physician. Through attending the banquets and hearing the powerful testimonies, Scott’s involvement grew and he officially became a board member in August 2023. Scott is thankful to share this passion for mission work with his wife and continues to be touched by hearing how God works powerfully through simple faith.
